Scaffolding Training & Safety Courses
Fulcrum Scaffold Training & Safety Ltd provides health, safety and training nationally to the construction, nuclear, petrochemical and power generation industries.
We offer a range of services and are specialists in scaffolding with vast experience in health, safety, training and assessment. We support clients operating in accordance with legislative requirements including British and European standards.
Mental Health Awareness
This course is available as either an online or face to face training session.
Working At Height Awareness Training

Fulcrum Scaffolding Senior Consultant & Lead Trainer – David Abraham
Dave has over 30 years of experience in the scaffolding industry. He started out as a Trainee Scaffolder in 1983 and quickly progressed to be an Advanced Scaffolder cardholder. Dave has held numerous positions in the scaffolding industry including Advanced Charge-hand, Site Supervisor, Site Manager, Cost Engineer, CISRS Instructor, Assessor, Internal Quality Assurer and until starting at Fulcrum was the Training Director of a CISRS Training centre.
Over the years Dave has developed a number of bespoke courses for clients such as Scottish Power, Persimmon Homes, Morris Homes, Miller Homes, Balfour Beatty, Bellway homes, Gwynedd Council, ITV, Mersey Gateway and many more.
Dave’s experience stretches as far as writing courses for the HSE and in his previous employment, he was their preferred trainer.
Dave has sat on a number of committees including the CISRS steering group, which involved writing training courses and programs for CISRS and CITB’s Product Development Group for the diploma qualification in Scaffolding.
Dave has worked on Scaffold System Products and has developed one-day inspection courses for all System Products.
He has also written CISRS SSPTS courses for a number of system manufacturers such as Altrad, Atpac, Layher and Peri-Up.
In addition to this he has written the Part 1 and Part 2 courses for most of Altrad Contur and Metrix systems and also Layher, including writing the Layher Advanced course, which was piloted by CISRS in 2013.
