CISRS accredited centres have been informed that scaffolders who have completed their Advanced course may not have to complete the CPD course if their current card is due to expire.

If you hold a CISRS Scaffolder Card that is due to expire but you have completed your 10 CISRS Advanced course, then you can now appeal to have your card extended by 12 months. This will give you 12 months to complete your NVQ Level 3 and CISRS 2 Day Skills Test before applying for your Advanced Scaffolder Card. Should you not complete the NVQ and skills test within this period then you will have to complete the CPD course if you wish to renew your CISRS Scaffolder Card.
